Living in our own little bubbles makes it easy to think that only people who look, dress, and sound like us are children of God.

The reality is, God made each and every one of us and loves us all equally, including Russian spies, mask-wearing members of Antifa, immigrants, migrants, even politicians.

He also loves Ohio State and Alabama fans, people who put ketchup on shrimp Po Boys, and those who don’t know the words to David Allan Coe’s “You Never Even Called Me By My Name.”

So your momma was right in that you shouldn’t talk to strangers, but nobody is a stranger in the Lord, so stick your hand out, say hello, and sit a spell with one another, because that’s the only way to…
