Meet Face to Face to Grow In Faith

From today’s reading…

We are earnestly praying night and day to be able to see you face to face again and make up any shortcomings in your faith. May God our Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, ease our path to you.” 1 Thessalonians 3:10-11

All Paul wanted to do was be with his flock in person, not via CCTV or YouTube, or Facebook streaming.

They met in person despite the risk of arrest, torture, and death, which, by the way, has begun in North Korea.

Oops.

Did I say North Korea?

I meant Australia.

And it’s headed our way—again.

What’s that?

You think the worst of our religious oppressions are over?

Ha.

My friend, they have only just begun.

The lockdowns of 2020 were a warmup.

An opening act.

The first inning.

By staying home; by allowing our bloated, corrupt, greedy government to scare you into compliance; by allowing our inept, evil, power-hungry government to divide, separate, and isolate our faith communities; by allowing our wasteful, idol-worshipping, dictatorial-seeking government to lie to us under the auspices of safety and security, they are making us fat, dumb, lazy, and prime for takeover.

Anything and anyone that stands between us gathering, i.e., “‘For where two or three meet in my name, I am there among them.’” (Matthew 18:20), is of the devil and is not to be followed, at a minimum, and defeated if it persists.

So gather, my friends. Gather in His name as often as possible, which is the only way to…

Stay the course.Keep the faith.Endure.

Now go sell something.
