The UFC Wins Because You’re Weak
You’re being played.
The UFC is just the WWE with more blood and a lot more liars, fakes, scoundrels, and manipulators who prey on your weaknesses to make money.
People aren’t so secretive about their guilty pleasures any more. They wear them like a badge of honor.”
The organizers and promoters in the UFC know your weaknesses and pull and push them like Geppetto with Pinocchio.
As you brag about your guilty pleasures, UFC promoters are taking notes. When you allow scenes of “violence and criminal activity” to excite you to part with your hard-earned money, you’ve been played.
By leaping over the cage after the fight and letting his fists fly at McGregor’s teammates, Nurmagomedov became that most profitable of things—relevant.”
If you give your time and money to people who are relevant only because of the bad things they’ve done, you’ve been played.
Something’s warped here when infamy sells far more successfully than excellence, but that’s exactly how it is, like it or weep. That’s not the UFC, that’s life as we know it.”
If you look for the razzle-dazzle—and admit it, that’s probably all you look for lately—instead of quality, the sizzle instead of the steak, you’ve been played.
Because the simple fact remains that there is a reason the fight was promoted this way. Because it worked.”
If you’re attracted to bad boys, thieves, and criminals you’ve been played.
It is not a small handful of people attracted by a crude subplot centered around miscreant behavior. It is hundreds of thousands of people, if not millions.”
If you’re attracted to miscreant behavior, you’ve been played.
Just because there’s a sucker born every minute, it doesn’t mean it has to be you…every minute.
It’s time to wake up and sniff the smelling salt.
If you’d jerk a knot in your kid’s head for acting a certain way, why are you spending your time and money to observe and admire villains being rewarded for performing those same actions?
What kind of message are you sending to your kids, your spouse, your community, and yourself?
You can’t complain about the violence, sex, and nudity on your DVR on Saturday night and expect to make progress in society—and with yourself—on Sunday.
You and I are too weak to resist non-stop temptations, which is why we were taught to pray…
And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.”
If it’s so obvious that alcoholics shouldn’t stroll through liquor stores and people on Weight Watchers® shouldn’t hang out in donut shops, why is it news that you and I need to be more discerning about what we allow into our minds?
Nobody is immune to constant noise, temptations, and assaults.
It’s time to understand and acknowledge the game of life in which we are immersed and commit to playing to win because the opponent in the game you may not have even realized you are playing until now is out to win at all costs.
So shake hands—or be like Nurmagomedov, and refuse to shake hands—return to your corner, and when you hear the bell, come out swinging.
Now go sell something…and stop letting yourself be sold like a 5-year old at the circus!
P.S. Do you realize how I played you with the title of this post? Headlines matter. So do the images, the captions, the sub headlines, the formatting, even the post script. I cover how to do all of that and more so you can make every sale in this program.
